This Position

  1. To assist the Deputy Hygiene Manager in the running of the Hygiene Department, as requested, to enable performance standards to be met efficiently. To work flexibly as required in order to achieve this.

  2. To ensure that cleaning meets the required hygiene standards and to raise any issues with the Hygiene Supervisor.

  3. Ensure that all relevant paperwork and hygiene systems are completed and maintained accurately.

  4. To follow agreed procedures for safe working practices in relation to other personnel, products, processes or raw materials.

  5. Ensure all hygiene operatives are rotated on tasks, identifying and correcting any procedural issues within his team.

  6. Able to understand and adopt good cleaning practices within the food industry.
