Who are Freshtime?

Freshtime is a privately-owned company founded in 2000 supplying major retailers with prepared vegetables. The site has had over £14 million invested in it to have their own purpose-built site.

Freshtime is at the heart of the UK fresh produce industry covering 82,500 square feet, employing around 350 staff and ideally located to supply customers throughout the country.


  • All personnel on the line, including PC, PA, General workers, Line Feeder in High care
  • All outputs from the line, Quality of product, paperwork accuracy, SIC/SFDC data, etc
  • H&S and the GMP of the line and immediate area
  • Training on personnel on the line and skill identification and development.·
  • Liaising and updating Shift Supervisors on performance of line and any issues arising.
  • Communicating any plan changes to all key personnel on the line to ensure accuracy of production.
  • For the competency and performance of the PC and PA operatives on the line in accurately completing the tasks and procedures associated with their roles.
  • Ensuring all line standard cards and equipment required for each product run is in place and used as per specification.
  • To maintain standard utilization of raw materials, packaging, Labour & energy on the line{s} in their control
  • To ensure good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times of the line/area. Ensure the product is manufactured in a hygienic environment in compliance with Food Legislation and FreshTime UK procedures
  • Ensure good communication is maintained within area/line and good communications are maintained with other departments
  • To promote high level of motivation within the team through sound leadership. Support and help to implement change processes within the area/line
  • To facilitate a continuous improvement environment
