In keeping with its current development plans, leading Lincolnshire fresh chilled food producer Freshtime UK has appointed a new trainee development chief.
Hayley Alouini recently joined the Boston-based company as part of Managing Director Mark Newton’s ambitious growth strategy.
Having worked her way up the career ladder as a chef at various pubs and restaurants, Hayley (27) is delighted to have become a part of the team at Freshtime.
“I am so grateful to have been given an opportunity to move into the fresh produce trade, especially since roles like this rarely become available,” said Hayley.
“The position of trainee development chef at Freshtime is ideal for me to develop my career and is exactly the sort of job I have been looking for.
“My first week has very much been about finding my feet within the company and learning the ropes, but I’m willing and ready to get stuck in.
“There is so much for me to learn within the role and endless possibilities for development. I am looking forward to working with fresh ingredients and experimenting with different varieties of vegetables.”
Originally from Milton Keynes, Hayley moved up to Newcastle during her teenage years and has now relocated to Lincolnshire to fulfil her new job role. She added: “It’s certainly an adjustment, but I’m loving it.”
Freshtime’s Managing Director Mark Newton was one of the first to congratulate Hayley on her appointment. He said: “Our strategy is simple: we want to continue to grow the business and to achieve this we must expand the team to increase our capacity.
“I am delighted to welcome Hayley to Freshtime and am very confident she will succeed within her new role.â€
