Leading fresh chilled food producer Freshtime UK is continuing to expand its workforce with four appointments at its headquarters in Boston, Lincolnshire
Sarah Green (Factory Manager), Yasmin Wade (Specifications Technologist), Melanie Cushen (Account Manager) and Lauren Newton (Receptionist) have been recruited as part of an ongoing development strategy at Freshtime, driven by Managing Director Mark Newton.
Having previously worked at Moy Park and Wingland Foods, Sarah Green from Boston brings 20 years of experience in the food industry to her role as Factory Manager at Freshtime.
“In this industry no two days are the same, especially in the summer months,” said Sarah. “I’m looking forward to being part of the team that overcomes the challenges and delivers great products to our customers.”
Following two and a half years as a technical assistant in pet food production with Fold Hill Foods, Yasmin Wade has made the transition to Specifications Technologist at Freshtime.
Boston-born Yasmin will work closely with clients to create artwork and content listings on a range of products, which help customers identify ingredients and nutritional values.
Meanwhile Account Manager Melanie Cushen brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Greencore Group PLC and Lincolnshire Herbs in Bourne.
Melanie said: “Freshtime is growing quickly and offers quality products and innovation to our expanding list of customers. I’m looking forward to working with them to deliver the best products for their needs.”
Taking up reception duties is Lauren Newton from Spalding, who previously worked in the administration department at Bush Tyres in her home town.
Mark Newton commented: “Over the last year we’ve been investing in and making additions to our team, creating a strong base from which we can continue to grow as a business.
“The next phase of growth for Freshtime is dependent on having the right people in the right roles. I’m delighted to welcome Sarah, Yasmin, Melanie and Lauren to the company.”
